Settlement in seconds, not weeks
Traditional secondaries require transfer agent processing, ROFR review, legal paperwork, and manual fund transfers. Each step adds days. On-chain settlement is atomic: the trade either completes fully or not at all, eliminating counterparty risk and reducing settlement from weeks to seconds.
You hold your own keys
When you trade on Forge or EquityZen, the platform custodies your shares in an SPV or omnibus account. If the platform fails, your assets are at risk. With Mithril, tokens sit in your own wallet. If Mithril went offline tomorrow, your assets would still be safely accessible on-chain.
Prediction markets included
No other private equity platform offers prediction markets. Mithril lets you trade on the outcome of IPOs, fundraising rounds, and corporate events using the UMA Optimistic Oracle for decentralized, trustless resolution. It adds a new dimension of price discovery for private companies.
